Abstract Dissection Type

An abstract dissection type is the equivalence class of an affine oriented matroid which is defined by isomorphisms which map infinity elements to infinity elements.

The abstract dissection types of realizable oriented matroids are called dissection types and correspond to "isomorphism types" of hyperplane arrangements.
